Hosting

We host Botany software on established cloud providers, including AWS & Google Cloud Platform. These providers provide stringent physical, technical and administrative safeguards.

Encryption

All communication with Botany is encrypted using SSL/TLS.

Why do we require to access your Google account?

Botany provides intelligent scheduling and interview management tools to help interview teams hire more quickly. In order to analyze schedules and book interviews we need access to your Google account.

How do we access your Google account information

We integrate with Google APIs via OAuth. This allows us to interact with certain features of your Google account without having access to your full account or knowledge of your password.

What permissions do we require?

We only request the minimum permissions required for our functionality to work. Specifically:

• View your calendars (read-only)
  • To allow you to choose on which calendars interviews should be scheduled
• View and edit events on your calendars
  • To book and send meeting invitations for interviews
  • To cancel or reschedule interviews booked through Botany
  • To keep Botany up to date with changes to events
• View calendar resources on your domain (read-only)
  • To display meeting rooms, projectors or other resources in your organization
• View users on your domain (read-only)
  • To help you select users in your company to add to interviews
